Lil Yachty Shows Off New Bart Simpson Chain

Once again, Gucci Mane has inspired another Atlanta rapper and show that he is one of the most influential figures in Hip-Hop today. Recently, Lil Yachty posted a video to Instagram showing off his latest purchase. A pendant that he calls 'Yachty Simpson'. In a post debuting the new Jon Guven-designed jewelry, Yachty gave a shout-out to hs OG Gucci Mane for the inspiration.

Gucci Mane's Bart Simpson chain has become one of the more iconic pieces in rap fashion history. It was the beginning of Gucci's infatuation with flashy, cartoonish jewelry he's upheld to this day. "[It] was like 75k just for the charm," Guwop said in an interview with Highly Questionable. "I just liked the colors, I just liked the shine. There wasn't really no meaning, I just like to stunt." Yachty also shared a post & caption on Instagram that found him relating to Bart.
